Kevin Maguire: Labour Activists Are "Cretins"

Kevin Maguire doesn't seem to think much of Labour Party members. On his talkup with James Max on LBC for his morning programme, James asked him what he made of the David Miliband Party Invite document I wrote about yesterday. His reply was very illuminating and showed the mindset of well paid lefty journalists...

"Written by a cretin, for cretins"

Wikipedia defines cretinism thusly...

Cretinism is a condition of severely stunted physical and mental growth due to
untreated congenital deficiency of thyroid hormones (congenital hypothyroidism)
due to maternal nutritional deficiency of iodine.

Now, can you imagine what Kevin Maguire would write in his column if David Cameron described a Labour MP as a cretin? 'Same old nasty Tories' would be the mildest form of abuse he would no doubt employ.

Kevin Maguire is Mandy's Parrot

Kevin Maguire's political "commentary" is becoming more of a joke by the day. Earlier on he was on Sky News getting a pasting from the Telegraph's Andrew Pierce. And now I see he has written on his blog the following words of wisdom.

"Each day the Tory indignation at Damian Green's arrest looks like a smokescreen to hide the fact they have colluded in a possible crime."

Earlier on today Peter Mandelson said...

"I also think it's pretty self-serving by Conservative MPs, who want to put up a smoke screen to hide their own party's role in allegedly colluding with a Home Office official in breaking the law."

If Kevin Maguire wants a job as Peter Mandelson's parrot, why doesn't he just ask for one?

Kevin Maguire Thinks We Don't Like Him

James Silver has done a rather good interview with a very chippy Kevin Maguire for the Sky News website HERE. Mr Maguire seems to think we don't like him very much.

"I'm a hate-figure for certain Tories," he says. "That's just the way it is. But as long as they read my blog, I don't care."

Of course not. It's not that we don't like him, we just don't like the rubbish he writes most of the time. Mind you, our Kev has a bit of good news for those of us on the right.

"Brown's in a deep hole, things are incredibly bleak for him and Cameron's going to win the general election."

Indeed. See, he can write sensible stuff if he really really tries.
