Should I Be Flattered?

This cartoon is drawn by Matt Buck from Hack Cartoons. Handsome chap, isn't he?

Apparently you get to choose if the final version has me with horns or a halo. [don't even think about printing that double entendre - ed]

  1. The artist obviously thinks you are 'horny'! You seem to have grown a stonking pair!

  2. One horn and half a halo suits me. (Philosophically moderate).

What the hell are those bullet holes in your cheeks all about?

And what a humongous dome. Obviously the scribbler thinks you're brainy. So: flattered be, I guess.

  3. I thought it was a good likeness of Richard Nixon.

  4. The eyes are right if a BBC hack blames Thatcher again but rest of it seems a bit crappy. Not very nice anywho.

  5. How cool is Brenda's party tonight? Everyone's turned up, everyone.

  6. I thought it was very good when I first saw it yesterday. It is a true cartoon version, and that's how it works.

I couldn't see how to vote for horns or halo at the originating site, but when it does become clear (presumably via one of those poll thingies) I'll vote for the halo.

  7. Should have an English flag on it, just as your blog used to.

  9. The only real test of this is to ask your partner. You will get the truth, but in a nice way.

  10. Sarkozy's late for the gig at Downing Street. To be fair to Gordon - the lad's on top form.

Where's King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia hanging out? It's the best gig this village has held for a while and Jamie Oliver's cooking tea.. fair enough.

Kids' fracas down t'village by 'eck.

  11. Have these hellicopters been shot down or rubbish mechanics. I have an in built fear but it seems good mechanics are useful.

  14. Iain,

I looked out for you down at the Bank Of England today. I was there to support the pro capitalist "let the banks go bust instead of putting my grand children in debt" mob (the taxpayers alliance).

    Where were you?

If that's really why you were there (and not just to get your becostumed, self-serving personage in the online grauniad) then hats off to you, sir. Great. Simply great.

If that's not really why you were there, then you're an utter arse-hole and a hypocritical shit.

    Did you mend any windows...

  16. A little modesty might become you. Seems the notoriety is going to your head a bit. Hope the diabetes under control.

Mate, you are on the right side of right. Hats off to you for standing up in the bullpen.

Apologies for my previous utterly shit comment.

And, while we're here in the confessional, I'd like about 8000 other shit comments to be taken into consideration, not all of them necessarily about you.

    K?
