I'm as pleased as the next person that McBride has been exposed for the ghastly bully boy that he is, but please could we give it a rest with the "Downfall" spoofs - the first one was very funny but its the law of diminishing returns and they are just looking a bit desperate now.
Rather like the Labour Party and their CRAP, CORRUPT Government.
Okay, I know here's a new one of these every week...but this week's Labour sleaze story really is about the Brown bunker...and the 'don't worry, we'll keep all wimmin shortlists' line is brilliant.
It's odd that polls (I believe) continue to put current Labour sleaze as being perceived at the same level as Tory sleaze under Labour. As I remember (and it was a long time ago), Tory sleaze was a few sleazy backbenchers selling their willingness to ask questions in the house and various Tories at all levels engaging in the odd spot of weird sexual activity (well, I thought it was weird). Bad, yes...but surely not anything like the sleaze we're seeing now from the 'whiter than white' crew in power?
Having watched quite a number of these spoofs I think this the best. It linked the actual German dialogue in to the "translation" several times, with Stalin and Europe, and "the election is lost."
I was waiting for this one with eagerness, and am not disappointed.
