Brown might be working on the premise that if you ain't got it then stand next to it and smile - people might still associate you with it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cheap shot - George Clooney is far more than just a 'celebrity' airhead. As well as being an actor he is an accomplished director, and does a lot of work with the UN and many charities as well.

ReplyDeleteMany people were pleased to have their photograph taken with the unelected Winston Churchill during WW2. Also, to some extent, with the similarly unelected John Major in 1990-92.
