With them about to lose in Holyrood & councils now being elected on PR which will overturn the FPTP massive labour majorities I think we are going to see a lot of things hidden under rocks exposed to the light.

Though I don't think the Tories are as deeply entrenched anywhere as Scottish Labour this is an obvious problem anywhere people have been in power for generations.

It brings up 2 other questions:

How independent are any universities? Certainly the reaction of the administrators of the scientific community to the global warming scare suggests scepticism & independence are having a hard time.

Patient line. How much an example of the free market is it. It has been given a monopoly by the NHS. It has also quite obviously totally misunderstood the nature of the electronic revolution. What sort of idiot bases their plans on the theory that a 15 year commitment to a particular wired system is going to work - a civil servant who doesn't understand electronics, that is what. I doubt if a real electronics entrepreneur would have made such a mistake. The compay is clearly bankrupt & should be allowed to die.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-4756337596031546162007-04-30T09:44:00.000+01:002007-04-30T09:44:00.000+01:00Anon @ 3:04No, no, no!
