Osborne mad...I don't agree about Anne Milton. <br /><br />Osborne made it clear that ministers should put their proposals to the Treasury and the Treasury would decide. Osborne would then publicise all in his autumn budget.<br /><br />Anne Milton isn't the keeper of the Coalition policies and is clearly not sensitive to the political climate and its intricate path between minefields.<br /><br />Perhaps she was trying too hard. Perhaps she wanted to bump the government into accepting her proposal by publicising it.<br /><br />Had she run this by the Treasury first? If so, what did the Treasury tell her?
