18DoughtyStreet Talk TV on the Today Programme

Click HERE (7.26am) to hear the Today Programme feature on 18DoughtyStreet Talk TV. We'll also be featured on BBC Online and the BBC Daily Podcast tomorrow, as well as the BBC's Politics Show on Sunday. The BBC seem rather taken with us...

I was amazed to see how many people at the Tory conference had heard of the venture. With only 6 days to go until we go on air, it's all getting a bit real now...

According to the BBC:

“… a sort of British version of Fox News, which is Rupert Murdoch’s news channel in the United States. Fox is attacked for being politically partisan and that of course is not allowed here.”

Not allowed here! I had to pour myself a wee dram.

Yes not like the BBC is biased or anything.

Good luck with the venture. Methinks the BBC is just giving it high profile so that people know about the endeavor when they bash three shades of dung out of it.

Well good luck and I hope it's a huge success.

What a shame that Tom Fielden ended his otherwise good report with the dreaded phrase "remains to be seen". I think I was taught NEVER to use that as a payoff on about day two in BBC local radio.

Oo, you've not even started yet and the "establishment" is trying to buy you off!

Well, whether there's something in all of this internet TV stuff or not, you've got 'em scared Iain ;) That's definitely a good sign.

This could be the big boost you need to get the word out (yes, you know I'm a cynic about this venture, but I do wish you all the best of luck all the same). Have fun!

If our host will permit a technical detour - google Media player classic, download etc and this will play *.RAM files without colonising your hard drive and making preumptions about file associations...

People sitting up watching their laptops late into the night.--I've read somewhere that you can watch your computer through your TV via a single lead.--What type of lead and how exactly. It would be nice to have instructions somewhere.
