It seems that you anonymous do not agree with this statement WHY?<BR/><BR/>Even when a political party is not in government, it still has a large amount of real power over where public money is spent, favours and planning permision given. This does not just apply to Local government but national as well.<BR/><BR/>Remember it was possible last time and may be very possible next time that the lib/dems will hold the balance of power in Britain for the first time in 30 years. Even if they get less seats then ever before. The Lib/Dems therefore need as much watching as all the rest.
