But your boss is bringing in censorship [which is his privilege]. I have detested any form of censorship since reading George's 1984. I re-read it every year in May to remind me of what can happen to a society that allows freedom to be curbed. So my lovely Lady F - it's goodby.
RobbAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1109375376923595112005-02-25T23:49:00.000+00:002005-02-25T23:49:00.000+00:00Robb, do be sensible - what could Lord A possibly ...Robb, do be sensible - what could Lord A possibly want in return from Iain? And I suppose the sainted Mr. Lamb had no contributions from anyone - paid for it out of his own pocket - as if!

Ms. Greer's friend should have swatted you one!

V. cross with you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1109374334543578432005-02-25T23:32:00.000+00:002005-02-25T23:32:00.000+00:00Difficult to comment on Conservative policies thes...Difficult to comment on Conservative policies these days - they are constantly changing or are generally inane and unbalanced. Even the "would be" MP candidates seem unable to give straight and comprehensible answers to straight and honest questions. I am quite bright and politically aware and I find it difficult, so how on earth can the voters hope to understand the general drivel eminating from Michael Howard. William should be brought back with immediate effect and given a guaranteed 10 years in the job. Currently, when I think of the Conservative Party of today, I am reminded of Achelous after the defeat by Hercules. From Snake to Bull and a broken horn.

Lady F
I was at a function in Cambridge today and there was a rather attractive young thing in a maids uniform dishing out the champers. I couldn't help but think of you Lady F and I said to Henrico, an old school pal, Who is that? [with a strong stress on the "is"] He looked at me with a cheeky grin and said " Don't you know? -that's Rampant Freya from Finchley!" Well I went up to her, like a shot, and asked her what she knew about Butterflies and had she ever met anyone under the clock at Waterloo station. She said she was a friend of Ms Greer and would I mind leaving her alone. Lady F I don't suppose that you were in Cambridge today playing hard to get?

I see that Iain went from being in the sh** at the by election to a similar situation at Wallcott.

Thought that the article in the EDP about Iain getting the dosh from that Lord made Iain look decidedly seedy. He must be naive to believe that the likes of the Lord A don't expect a return on their money at some point. Just suppose that Iain ever did manage to get elected, say to a Parish Council, and I had a dispute with Lord A could I ever be sure that Iain would take my side? When you've sold your soul you can't get it back.
RobbAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1109370235398975132005-02-25T22:23:00.000+00:002005-02-25T22:23:00.000+00:00This blog thing is hilarious but do you not think ...This blog thing is hilarious but do you not think that you should concentrate on your policies rather than commenting on features of the lib dems. But then i wouldn't want to help your struggle. Remember, the lib dems get votes in this are- the conservatives don't- meaning that people vote Lib. Ha ha = not conservative!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1109320510147617422005-02-25T08:35:00.000+00:002005-02-25T08:35:00.000+00:00Its to do with water levels, old boy. For God's sake do not make any promises that you can't keep to the people of Walcott. Best thing to do, old boy is to get a petition up or something. That will impress them. For God's sake, before you shout off remember one of our own covers this area.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
